VVV-Venlo is a proud Dutch football club from the city of Venlo in Limburg, founded in 1903. The team plays at De Koel, a unique stadium partly built into a hillside, where fans enjoy one of the most distinctive matchday experiences in the Netherlands.
The club’s nickname is De Venlose Trots (“The Pride of Venlo”), and its yellow-and-black colors are instantly recognizable. Over the years, VVV venlo has bounced between the Eredivisie and Eerste Divisie, producing memorable moments and developing talented players who went on to shine at higher levels.
Fun fact: the walk down the famous staircase from the dressing rooms to the pitch at De Koel is one of the most iconic sights in Dutch football.
