Alemannia Aachen is a historic football club from the city of Aachen. Near the borders with Belgium and the Netherlands. The team plays its home matches at the Tivoli, a modern stadium with room for over 30,000 passionate fans who create one of the most vibrant atmospheres in German football’s lower leagues.
Known as “Die Alemannen,” the club has a proud tradition of resilience and fighting spirit. Their greatest successes came in the 1960s and 70s, highlighted by finishing as Bundesliga runners-up in 1969 and reaching the German Cup final in 2004. Participation in the UEFA Cup that same year gave the club international exposure.
Fun fact: Alemannia Aachen was founded in 1900, originally by a group of students. The club colors are black and yellow, and their supporters are famous for their loyalty. No matter the division, the Tivoli is always alive with energy and passion.
