Neuchâtel Xamax is a Swiss football club based in the city of Neuchâtel. Founded in 1970 through the merger of two older local teams. The club plays its home matches at the Stade de la Maladière, a modern stadium located on the shores of Lake Neuchâtel.

Nicknamed Xamaxiens, the team is best known for its success in the 1980s, when it won back-to-back Swiss league titles and regularly competed in European competitions.
