Description
SC Telstar is a Dutch football club from IJmuiden, founded in 1963. The club plays its home games at the Rabobank IJmond Stadion. Often simply called Tata Steel Stadion, a cozy ground known for its loyal and passionate supporters.
The club’s nickname is De Witte Leeuwen (“The White Lions”), inspired by the lion on their crest. Telstar has long been a fixture in the Eerste Divisie (Dutch second tier). Developing young talent and earning a reputation as a hard-working, community-driven club.
